What Customers Say About Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset [Motorola Retail Packaging]:

Also, the button may be a little too easy to press, if it's in the pocket or a case, when you don't want it pressed. Just a bit of crackling, not quite as strong as some other bluetooth signals, when arm or body in the path of the headset and device. Very good. Good battery life, nice mini-USB charging port (convenient), decent sound quality on both ends. And perhaps a little annoying that the bluetooth light is so big and prominent.

Before you buy this headset, please know you will at some point have to take it apart and fix Motorola's mistake.I sent this to my father for Father's Day, and was pretty angry that he had to take it apart and remove a piece of rubber/foam that was blocking anyone from hearing his voice. He synced it up fine to his phone, and he was able to hear whomever he called, but they couldn't hear him - and this was brand new out of the box. This is NOT an uncommon problem with these headsets, as I quickly found on Google. However, I was SO thankful to also find a quick solution here: http://www.geocities.com/jconkwright/H700fix.htmlUnfortunately, I'm still pretty angry as my dad had to perform surgery on his own gift for it to even work.I'm only giving it 2 stars b/c it does work now. Thanks a ton Motorola.

However, I closely compared the product to the photos on various website and came to the conclusion that it was genuine. After I received the product I thought it was a counterfeit since it did not arrive in the Motorola packaging. Good quality of sound, but not great quality.

Minor issue, overall very happy with the item. No static, no trouble with other people haring me on the phone, no issues whatsoever. I've been using the H700 for about a month now and the sound quality is just superb, it is as good if not better than using the phone itself. The only issue with the device is that if I have the headset on my ear for say over an hour, the earloop begins to hurt a little bit so I need to either remove it completely or adjust its position every once in a while. Having gone through 3 Motorola bluetooth headsets before this one, I wasn't entirely happy with any of those 3 models. This one, however, delivered as promised. One of the best features of this headset is the battery life, the folding microphone thing does wonders, I need to recharge only once a week or so.

Power: I have yet to drain this battery. Size: small, fits well on my ear. I highly recommend it. Verizon's selling it for $30-50 more, as is Best Buy at the time of this review. He liked it so much, he's buying one as well. I'm pretty good about just plugging it up with my phone during the night. Conclusion: I'll have to say that I read review and review after review of this model and many others, including Plantronics.

I've been on the road for 10+ hours for two days with average phone calls and didn't have to charge it. This seems to work for me. Remember the early days of cordless phones. I decided to get one rather than a hands-free car kit (which I have had in the past), as I'm in and out of the car alot and need to use my hands for carrying things other than a phone. My husband has a different "ear type", with a smaller lobe, and he states that it fits him well also. That's what we're talking about when I say "static." Cost: you won't find a better deal than Amazon.

If you've got a Moto RAZR or BB like I've had, the charger/adaptor is the same. I was up and running in a matter of minutes. This is my first bluetooth headset. Reception: I've found that if I accidently walk out of a room without my phone, I can actually get down the hallway 15-20 feet or so without hearing a lot of static. VERY convenient.
